"BUILD BRIDGES NOT WALLS"
In collaboration with Nine and Eye, a fabrication team engaged to design and build a retail space for San Franspycho—a skate and surf lifestyle brand based in San Francisco—I was responsible for developing a cost-effective projection mapping and technology solution. This solution brought the store's hero-branded signage to life, illuminating and activating it with dynamic projected animations.
Executing this scope of work required a practical understanding of projector specifications, the ability to position and scale the video source in three-dimensional space, and expertise in adjusting for warping and alignment between the digital content and the physical shapes being projected onto.
The final result was a striking large-scale branded feature, designed with a wave-like ripple texture that evoked the sensation of being a surfer in the water. This immersive element captivated passersby, drawing them in from the street to engage with and explore the unique retail experience.
