The intention of this project was to develop a new retail environment in the SF airport for the Bay-area native brand San Franpsycho. My colleague and I were tasked to holistically conceptualize, fabricate, and install custom interior elements that captured San Franpsycho's brand essence while also reimagining a streamlined shopping experience for customers and employees alike. The resulting concept is one that is truthful to the existing company aesthetic; DIY, gritty, garage-rock, surfer-esque, climate-sensitive, and canvassed with a raw material palate.  We sought to redefine the spatial experience of the store by creating interior elements that accommodated the surplus of SKUs but were related through materiality, fabrication processes, and integration of Bay-area motifs such as the golden gate truss detail and topographic features of San Francisco proper.
